I've been thinking about trading in my Hartke 410 and Ampeg SVT-400 for one of these. Does anybody know anything about this particular combo amp?

Things are more like they are today than they have ever been before.
Since no one's posted after a day...
Although it really doesn't count for actual experience with the amp in question, I messed with one quite extensively in a store. It wasn't my style of thing. Then again the amp that I paid the most attention to was an EA iAmp 600 through some 2x15 cab.
It's not "real world" experience, but it didn't seem to have the bottom end and the "thump" that I expect out of bass amps. Maybe it would be different through a 15 instead of the 10s, but it didn't do anything for me at all.

Some people are like Slinkies . . . not really good for anything, but you
still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.
Thanks Davey,
After thinking about it, I have decided to check out the single 15w/titanium tweeter version of this combo amp. The 2 -12 seems to be an odd combination for bass amp. I think I will be happier with a the 15 since I play a Fender 5 string Jazz.

I have this and have been pleased with it, not sure how it compares to the 2x12 though...

do I look like I know what I'm doing?
You know... I missed that you asked about the 2x12- it was the 2x10 that I played. Again, we're not talking real experience here- as I haven't used 12s as bass speakers in a long time, but I'd at least want to try out some newer 12" bass speakers. I'm not a fan of 10s- 15s are cool if they can handle the power, and I'd imagine the 12s would be a nifty cross between the two. Possibly "punch with depth."
