Wow, that's beautiful! Congrats!
Awesome!
I don't think I've ever seen a JM in that color. Usually red or burst.
Several guitars in different colors
Things to make them fuzzy
Things to make them louder
orange picks
very nice
do I look like I know what I'm doing?
SWEET!!!!!!
Very cool!
With all due respect, the whole concept of paying extra money for an artificially-beat-up guitar is sheer madness.
Don't you feel a bit foolish explaining the concept of "relic" to a non-musician?
"Yeah, it's not old, it's brand-new, but for an extra XXX dollars, they sand off the paint, soak the hardware in acid and wire brush it, rub dirt into the scratches that they put in the formerly-perfect paint, and tarnish the frets.
"Yes, I DID pay extra for that...Whaddya mean, you'd do it for free?"
Here's the next step:
"Yeah, I bought this restored '55 Chevy convertible for $55K. Then I paid a body shop $15,000 to make it look like a beat-up heap. Now it's got MOJO!"
When are people going to see through this cynical profit motive and stop buying this sort of trash?
It's a short scale for skinny fingers.
Cuz I just found this thread and I can't keep my fingers quiet.
