    I lost My Dad Last Wednesday

    Many of you were aware, from one of my previous threads, that my dad was terminally ill. Well, he passed away early last Wednesday. I was at his side, along with my Mom and one of my sisters.

    Shortly before he was admitted to the hospice facility, I told him about the many thoughts, prayers and well-wishers on this forum. I told him about Moonpie (he laughed) and several others who were so giving of a complete stranger. I told him he had folks from Texas to Michigan, Ohio to Iowa, California and as far away as England and Australia pulling for him.

    He pondered that for a moment, smiled and said "well...that just about covers it!"

    One of the last things he said was that he was always proud of the friends that I chose. I'd like to include all of you in that bunch.

    Funnily enough i'm sitting typing this with my Dylan in Duluth t-shirt on, i Ironed it this morning and have been wearing it all day, must of been meant to be.

    That just about covers it...what a cool dude.
