Seems like a good place for a first post. I just traded in my '88 Les Paul Reissue and picked up a brand new '57 Reissue Strat. Never could get used to the feel of the LP, so I decided to go back to a Strat and man am I happy. It's really a joy to play. Anyway, here are a couple pictures:
Jeff
Tonedrip...that's a great '66!
Here's my #1 Strat - it doesn't get much play, but I pull it out every once in a while:
My Band: Tabula Rasa
Here's my number one strat:
That's a really bad picture of it, though. It's got a different pickguard on it now too. My other main guitar:
I have a couple more "main" guitars that I can't find pictures of.
Haha, was he playing one of those? I didn't even realize. I love it for the feel of the neck, and the bridge. The rest of the guitar is way too 80s for me.
Anyway, the protone is great. My only gripe is that it could stand bigger frets. And after ten years of having it as my main guitar, I may just fix that. I've done a bunch to it over the years...that picture was in the "third phase". Hah. I also have two '83 Am Std strats that belong to my dad.
Those old Ibanez are cool. I used to know a guy that collected them, he must've had 20! Coincidentally, I watched "Back To The Future" last night and he had one exactly the same as yours - same model, same colour. Weird.

Makes complete sense! I have a similar situation!
...and on the 8th day, God created the Super Reverb and there was ROCK, and it was GOOD!
Fezz, thats OK, I can't be too critical. I have 2 #1s. I swear each one is my favorite when I pick them up. They both get a lot of play.
Its the 2 G&Ls in the front. Of course, when I pick up the carvin that is laying down behind them, it is usually my #1 for a few days.

Here are my other strats. I don't play them as much because (as mentioned earlier) they don't really belong to me. But, I like them enough that I'd buy one to use as a main.
They are both '83s as far as I know. Those serial numbers from that era are rather conspicuous.
Heres my favorite, been my # 1 for 10 years

Tone is in the fingers, eh? Let's hear your Vox, Marshall and Fender fingerings then...
Wow Hud, that's a wild looking bridge! Who makes it?

It's a Wilkinson. It's chrome-plated brass. With my Peterson I can get it to intonate pretty close to where it should be but without true saddles the best I can do is approximate. Though I'm hesitant to alter the guitar much further (sounds so damned good already) I'm toying with the idea of putting a TonePros bridge on instead so that those meedly-meedly moments north of fret 12 aren't so hit and miss.

Oh Man!!! I never knew Fender made amps too!!!
This is still my favourite player
But I could not part with this as it was a 25th wedding anniversary present
"Its a Dogs Life" yeah right
If I really have to choose one (and I own a lot!): this one, a 1999 Metropolitan Tanglewood Deluxe in Pearl Mint Green. She has two Rio Grande humbuckers and is a Les Paul-eater!!!

Well, since the original requirement to show only one axe seems to have gone by the wayside, here are my 2 #1 axes:
- all original wine red 1996 LP Standard;
- "Gilmourcaster" assembled by myself.
Love 'em both!
My other car is a Telecaster®
Funkies looks like mine!!!

Man.... what a great thread for eye candy! Lots of really fine looking guitars.
And, err, I can't help but notice two 356s and a 336 making the grade.
