WOW!
I have only played one Ric, and it was not set up very good. I know a lot of folks that love em, and some who don't. I always have and that is one nice looking instrument!
Good grab Chucko! How does the neck feel?

Congrats, ChuckO
If you leave the house, you're just asking for it.
Chuck, you gotta mod that puppy.

Things to make them louder

HA! Hello Ricky.
Seriously, that bass is uber-sweet. I can't justify owning more than one bass, but if I could, that's the one I'd go for, in that color and everything.
The MapleGlo, not the pink.

Congratulations, Chuck!
Kap'n wins the Most Slandiferous Post of the Day award as far as I'm concerned.
s'all goof.
WOW.
BAD-ASS!
Imanidiot.
thanks guys. she sure is a sweety. the neck feels great! it's more of a U type profile, where as my tele bass and ibanez are C type shapes. but it's not too alien where switching becomes a problem.
i was actually thinking of a VH stripe job...LOL.
but seriously, the only things i think i'm going to do is change out the tuners, and maybe put the new ric bridge on it. i never use the mute, and the screws like to back themselves out. i guess we'll see.

How does she sound? Let's hear her over at the jam site.
They're REAL anyway.....
Kewl!
Things are more like they are today than they have ever been before.

That's a beaut.
When I was a wee lad just starting out on bass one that slipped through my fingers was an old Ricky 4001 fretless. It had the horseshoe pickup at the bridge and sound simply unbelievable.
A guy offered me the bass for something like $300. I passed, because I was shopping for a P-bass at the time and didn't think I could deal with the fretless neck.
