damn! The couple I found on ebay are like 650 and 720 buy it now prices I think. That gold is sweet though, I'm really tempted. I just posted up my Ibanez for sale too as a matter of fact on a couple sites. If I can get rid of some miscellaneous gear I could pick one up with no out of pocket. Or I can just buy one and not eat for a couple months

"Take a core sample through the body, send it off to a lab for analysis. You might want to get them to carbon date it at the same time, just to make sure they're not lying about that, too."

"A 1" hole saw would provide a big enough sample, wouldn't it?"

If you leave the house, you're just asking for it.

I'm sorry! Moonpie thinks that's too small.

Use a 2-1/2" hole saw or use several samples from the 1" hole saw.

Just think, you'll be able to boast in a "My Strat is lighter than yours" thread.

Good call. Get several samples, and make sure you send them to different labs, in different countries, if possible. This way, you reduce the risk of getting back deliberately falsified results from double agents posing as lab technicians but actually employed by the Fender black ops misinformation division.
