    drop d ------

    i want a drop d lever device on my strat--which has klusons on it - i dont want to enlarge any holes or such---does anyone make one??? for a kluson application??

    Okay, this obvious, but why not just tune it down? With a little practice, you can get it as quick as any mechanism/gadget.

    i have gotten busted after playing a drop d song---going back to e forgetting to retune---i want something thats quick and dosent require thinking

    thats terriffic how every one else does it---i want to do it my way---so--does anyone know of any drop d devices for klusons

    I don't know of any, but I have a question (and this may be the reason)

    It would seem to me that dropping a single string on a trem equipped guitar would change the tension and put the whole guitar out of tune, yes?

    It might work if the bridge is tight to the body.
    A friend in need is a good reason to screen your calls.

    correct i use 5 springs and the spring claw screws are tight--so there is no bridge movement

    Dunno if it's what yer looking for but I saw some kind of new bolt on device whilst browsing the Stewmac catalogue...
