Hi, with original black guards bringing 35k+, I was just curious what the next best choice would be when you have black guard G.A.S.
Is it a Fender masterbuilt, Fender relic, Nash, GVCC or any other options? I'm looking for vintage accuracy in looks,tone,playability and finish.

GVCG, hands down. I have played several 'real' blackguards, and I have played several GVCGs, Fender custom shop, other clone makers: Jonathan's guitars are the closest I've found in look, feel, vibe to an actual '50s telecaster - and they're smooth playing. They cost more than the custom shop for a reason.
