Oh, boy...
I've been checking the MOTU website every couple days since NAMM, and was there the first minute they started taking orders for DP 5. Heck, my copy was shipped before I even got the e-mail telling me it was available!
So the upgrade is arriving today, and I'm stoked. A new DP is always a treat, but this one comes with six new software instruments, including a drum module with hundreds of samples.. can't wait. And it does all kinds of cool big-time Hollywood stuff for scoring, like generating "streamers" and other visual cues that help players stay on track. Schweet!
I don't how many (if any) of you guys use DP, but this is almost as much fun as getting a new guitar for me. "Oh, stop, wait a minute, Mr. UPS Man...."
