Anybody know a vendor I can get some Belden 9778 from? that's the mic/guitar cable, but i don't need 1000 feet, maybe 75 (which I'll cut up into cords of varying length).

Try Have Inc., TeNec or Redco. All three have websites.Originally Posted by Hookerman

only Redco comes up on Google. Got a link?Originally Posted by Lava Man
I don't need 200 feet, which was the minimum I could find on these sites. I just want enough to make up a few guitar cables.
Maybe some other TFF members can go in together.Originally Posted by Hookerman
Call them - they will sell you less....Originally Posted by Hookerman

I'm late to this party, I know BUT:
After some arm twisting foma couple pros that I jam with, I put George L's on my bass pedalboard replacing the existing Belden/Switchcraft cables.
The augmentation in the high frequencies was readily apparent. I had to cut highs on my amp's eq straight away. It's been about 6 months now and the right angle GL's have started failing. It's a royal pain to try to find the faulty cable on the board.
I'm ready to toss'em out. YMMV
Yep - that seems to be a problem with Goerge L's...

Not mine. Six to ten gigs per month for over three years now with the same George -Ls, not one failure. Granted, I have reconfigured my board several times in that period, and each time I do, I make sure the ends of each jack are still screwed down tight, but that's all it's taken to keep 'em going strong.
Likewise. I've abused the two I own for years - walking on them, accidentally jerking them out of the amp input by stepping on them - and they still work fine.
