    Tweed Deluxe

Tweed Deluxe is my favorite, but I am pretty fond of my '63 Bassman!

    '68/69 Silverfaces

I love my '68 silverface Vibrolux Reverb. I'd love a sf Deluxe to match. Why pay those crazy blackface prices?

59 tweed Bassman or my 67 Super Reverb, depending on my mood.

I forgot about my 59 Super. I couldn't do without that amp, either.

    '64 blonde Bassman.

Traded a guy even for a Hot Rod Deluxe I used to gig with because he needed a combo.

Yea, I couldn't get the bubble wrap around the Hot Rod quick enough. I was scared he was going to change his mind before the trade went through.

I'm not too much into that ultra-clean Fender tone myself, but that's just me. I had a Cyber-Twin, and that was a fun toy, but I dumped it. I had a Twin Reverb RI and that was great for what it was, I guess--just not for me.

I can`t really say that I have one favorite. I love tweeds; the Bassman, Deluxe, 2X10 Super, and low powered Twin. I also love my 1960 brown 2X10 Super and VibroKing. I also have a `66 Deluxe Reverb and a `66 Super Reverb that I like, but I prefer the tweeds. Sometimes I think about selling the blackfaces but haven`t yet.

i'm kinda partial to the princeton reverb myself.
nice small amps, big sound and i like the way they breakup when driven hard.
currently have an early silverface that still rocks.
in need of a tubes and i'm sure some caps, but not now.

in the big boy boat i liked the dual showman into a 4x12 cab.

65 Princeton reverb. It has all the sound, but you don't need a forklift to transport it.

My favorite would be The Twin. What I use though is a Princeton 65 and a Power Chorus. The Power Chorus may not be the greatest amp fpr drive, but that awesone chorus, rich reverb and awesome clean channel makes up for it. And the Princeton 65 sounds great all the way around.

I really love the RI Bassmans, but I think a low-power tweed twin would be my fave if I could afford it...

I have a BF Super Reverb and a BF Vibrolux Reverb. I'd have to say that the Super is my fav.

I would like to grab a nice BF Deluxe Reverb one of these days, tho.
This has been a famous mortimer production

    Make mine "multi-speaker" Tweed!

I toggle back and forth between these two: a '57 Low Power Tweed Twin, and a '60 Bassman, both 100% original. There's SOMETHING about these Tweed Amps that really brings a Stratocaster alive - "Fender Into Fender" - who knew??

Since I putz at the house, I don't have "live" experience with many amps. I use a newish Fender "The Twin" amp, 2x12, 100/25 watt switchable. Man, Les Pauls sound mighty nice thru this. My Strats do well also.

I also keep a new Vox Valvetronix 60W digital amp on hand. Unreal.

I like the Vibrolux Reverb and brown Super. But my favorite has to be the late 50s Tweed line.

I'm not a huge Fender amp fan anymore, but I still have a bunch. I loved a '60 high power Tweed Twin I used to have, especially with Strats.
I have a '66 BF Super Reverb I bought in trashed condition. I rebuilt it and modded it quite a bit. It has become my favorite "Fender".

Black or Silver-face Super Reverb all the way...

Blues Jr. is nice for practice and smaller clubs.

"Tele & Tweed; good for what ails ya!"

Wouldn't want to choose between my '59 Vibrolux and my '68 Pro Reverb. If forced, probably have to go with the Tweed, tho.

If I had to own just one it would a 1964-67 Deluxe Reverb. Good for recording, easy to take to gigs, good volume levels for small to medium sized clubs, Fender tone, trem freature, great clean tones, great crunchy tones, likes pedals, look cool...

    64 Bandmaster/Bassman

I wanted that 'Venture' sound and got the black face Bandmaster new for my band 'The Cresents' of Louisville,Ky.
Later I needed a bass amp and this Bandmaster got the 'NORMAL' input modified to the Bassman 100 preamp ckt.
Added two heavy 12's and this amp rocks, jazzes, and bassbooms with ease.
