Thanks wellstrung. Actually, my wife got me a SKB-PS-15 for Fathers Day. Seems like it will work just fine fo me.

You distortion junkie! You're replacing a compressor with the Sonic Distortion? Now THAT's a cool pedal!

My main pedal in the 80's. I'm finding they're very picky about the amp they're plugged into. With the Marshall circuit they're great. The Bandmaster....well, I need to tweak more.

    All,

I'm looking for that "throaty" bluesy, tube driven tone and have been thinking about a Snarling Dog. Any thoughts? Or, would a TS9 cover more of what I'm looking for?

I'm considering getting a new wah. I have a crybaby, but was thinking about a zvex wah probe. Does anyone have any experience with one? Thoughts? Ease of use? Sound? It's certainly unique.

I just finished building a new one... I... ehm... "outgrew" my old one *shrug*.

    Anyway, here's my new board:

    Homer,

That's a big board. It wouldn't fit on some stages I've played on!

I've never seen Ibanez pedals in that kind of (pedal) case before.

That's the 10-series and X-series case. The one that followed the 9-series, like the TS-9. Pedals are pretty much the same for the most part, just a different box.

Oh, I had no idea. I have a TS-10 and I always assumed it was a completely different pedal. I just opened it up and there's a JRC4558D inside. Neat.

Looking around on the net, it sounds like there are a bunch of changes to the original circuitry though. Plus, the jacks are mounted on the board on the 10-series. Not very sturdy.

    Re: What's on your pedalboard?

I've never had a problem with the board-mounted jacks. The 10-series pedals are sturdier than they look.
The changes to the circuit are neglectable, ton-wise. it sounds as good as any other TS pedal, especially under live conditions. the biggest difference to the older TS circuits is an additional buffer stage, but that's about it.

    * Got rid of some of the Boss pedals that I never used (e.g., Octave)

    * Added some of the Danelectro mini-FX pedals
(I actually like their flanger and vibratro)

    * Replaced the MXR Phase-90 with a Dano mini phaser (not as intense as
the Phase-90 and without an annoying volume bump I had with the MXR)

    * Replaced my TS-9 Tube Screamer with a Bad Monkey and my DS-1
with a Daddy-O -love the 3-band EQ and the pedal is "cleaner" (less
    noisey hiss when engaged)

    * Added a MIDI controller for my V-Amp Pro amp modeler

Also, I've set up a smaller version of the pedalboard for use in the church gym during
our youth service (this lets me keep my main board in the church sanctuary for the
    other 3 services each week)

I checked today and found mostly dust on my pedalboard. I just don't use it any longer. Tuner always comes with me but that's it at this point.

    Re: What's on your pedalboard?

Got tired of lugging pedals and settin up, don't know why I took so long to get a board. I love how I can just plug and play now.
Pedal guys, I love leaving the chorus on all the time, but it seems to change the tone of my acoustic simulator stomp...any fix to this? Thanks.

    Re: What's on your pedalboard?

    Bad Monkey
    FAB Distortion
dano Cool Cat or Boss Ch-1 chorus (depending on how many 9 volts i have and what sound i'm after)

    Or just a

    Behringer X-V Amp

Yeah it's pretty pathetic, but it's what I got and it does the job for now.

Aw... I just had to kill the thread with my sorry excuse for a pedal board. Maybe if i ask a question like...

"What order should my effects be chained in?"

    ...it'll jump start this thread.

    Re: What's on your pedalboard?

I have pleanty of pedals, but this always ends up being the most flexible and convenient. And, by the way, I can get some pretty good sounds out of it. You just gotta take the time to get your patches set up. But I do usually have a pedal or two as backup.

    Real simple setup for me.

Guitar > TS-9 RI > Boss SD-1 > Dunlop Crybaby > Ibanez 10 Series Digital Delay > Electro-Harmonix Small Clone Chorus (not a RI) > Hot Rod Deluxe or 77 SF Twin.
