i'm sure this has been asked, but please help (overdrive pedal - for a Twin)

for my '65 Twin Reverb reissue
i am currently using a TS9 for nice chimey drive

i am looking for a nice "rich" distortion pedal that will work well with a punchy clean twin. thoughts?

    OCD?
    Jackhammer?
    BOSS?
    Digitech?
    etc.

    thanks! -cb

I've just ordered a Fulltone Fulldrive FD2 to suit my Fender Strat into a Fender Super 60
My LP Jr with a P90 (9.15k) overdrives that amp VERY nicely but the Strat doesn't (Vintage pups)
I havn't got it yet but exp it to bere in a few days!!

    Boss BD-2 (stock or Keeley-modded)
Visual Sounds Jekyll & Hyde (works VERY well with a Twin)

Twins are tricky because they're so clean, it's hard to find a pedal that doesn't sound like a cartoon, y'know, completely unrealistic.

I had a FD2 for a while, but I find those sound better when paired aith an amp that's already working hard, & I rarely had any reason to turn my old Twin up past "3".

    As always, YMMV.
