Hi!. We play this song in our band but I dont play exactly the same chords as john in the song. I really dont know wich chords he plays. Really want to know though.

Nope, not illegal to share certain kinds of tabs, just tabs of copyrighted (whole) songs. Sharing licks, chords, small particular passages of songs, that's all fine.

I was more saying that TFF just doesn't see a lot of Tab stuff, which is why I imagine you didn't see the traffic you wanted.

Well, that's a tough question. I wish there was a hard and fast answer. I'd say that generally speaking, if you're linking to a site that deals primarily in posting tabs that violate U.S. copyright laws, we're probably going to yank it.

Same logic applies with linking to a site that offers free MP3s of copyrighted songs, videos, etc. BitTorrent is a great example. BitTorrent exists only to freely (illegally) distribute that which should not be free, so I definitely yank every BitTorrent link I see.

On the other hand, if someone asks a question that you can answer but have concerns posting that info, you can always email them with the info you have. (Provided of course they have their email link "on." If they don't, you can always post "Hey Joe, email me") :)

Then there's the story about how a nice lady mistook me for Joe Piscopo (sp) while at a ball game in '82. And another thought I was Al Franken a few years later. Then there was the huge Halloween party where the young vampiress and I both mistook each other for someone else. That lasted a month.
