If you want a high quality neck NOW, then Warmoth is a very good choice. I dig their site because you can see the actual piece you're buying. I have several of their products and have had very good experience with them.

USACG makes great necks and bodies but can take up to 8 weeks to deliver.

USACG is worth the wait. If you want it immediately you might as well buy an Allparts neck. A good generic neck w/vintage specs & already finished; you can bolt it right on. WAY cheaper, too.

I like the Allparts stuff too. They do a good job with the headstock shapes on their necks. I've got a few of their Tele bodies also and the workmanship is good.

I prefer USACG over Warmoth for the options.

If I needed a neck today and Warmoth had what I wanted in stock I'd order it.

My vote is for USACG, great necks, and top notch service, only critique is sometimes the quality of their wood could be improved, I got a Strat neck with a few scale patches.

Those Allparts necks that are advertised as Nitro have a Poly type base underneath, makes the finish real thick and glossy looking almost industrial quality.

I like Allparts. They are neat, unfussy, accurate, and work. I particularly advocate their 'Fat' Tele neck, very close to a Nocaster and gives a gigantic boost to the sound/sustain/tone/timbre. But, like Plankspanker says, the nitro finish 'can' be a touch thick on some, and you would be advised to expect to remove the lacquer off the frets (no big deal). Once the neck is on the guitar I would say any doubts would be cast aside by the playability and nice fret feel Allparts seem to produce.

I have an outstanding Allparts TMO-FAT neck.....ridiculously stupid fat,and straight as an arrow.

Yeah, those fatties are nice! They're like an 1.000" thick at the nut. And, they're comfy.
