As nice as the guitars are, that's one hell of an amp collection.

Just looking at all those guitars being played at the same time gices me a headache. Ya know, the fact that they're mostly Teles makes it a full blown migraine!

Nice guitars, and great amps too!

Wow. Lots of EL-84s on that stage. The tube made for single coils.

    Holy cow!!

I have a mostly guitar instrumental CD by Steve Wariner called "No More Mr. Nice Guy". Aside from the not so stellar guest appearance by Richie Sambora, other special guests like Vince Gill and Chet Atkins more than make up for it. Not to mention Mr. Wariner's out-freakin'-rageous tele pickin'. You should check it out. :)

Cooltone, I've had that CD since it was released (I've been a SW FAN since I first heard "Midnite Fire" in '81 or so)....I particularly enjoy his tip of the hat to Chet Atkins, "For Chester B"...so cool...I keep that disc in my truck, and listen to it quite often.

Thankfully, it looks like a heck of alot more 6V6 and 6L6 than EL84. Them british bastards sure are whiny sounding with singles (IMNSHO)

Total migraine to hear more than one tele with more than a pair of 84s.

At least TB has the decency to vary his teles with other pickups and bridge combos to mix up the sounds.

Thanks for the pics and link to more. Looks like Baxter is the only guy able to get away with tucking in a shirt. Like me, its bowling (belly) shirts all around.

Yep, when he put it on I was thinkin "what's this gonna be like".....and it was good....I would have preferred him to have just a tiny bit more clean sound to his tone when he played it, but it still sounded like...well, Eric Johnson!

James Burton gave every performer there that night a new JB Tele.....and that's what Eric was playing....pretty cool stuff.....
