Single channel amps (50 watts and over)

My amps I've been using over the last 15-16 years are all about to take a big ol dump (early JCM800, Peavey Stereo Chorus 400, & Bandit 65 for small rooms).

Any sugestions on a good one chanel amp (combo or head) for country/southern rock. Ones I'm considering are:

Fender Reissue Twin (I use these when ever I use backline gear)
The New JCM 800 Reissue head (not the Zack version)
    Matchless 2x12

Does Rivera, Vox, or others make a good single channel amp??

Just asking for sugestions incase I'm overlooking somthing good.

    Thanks!

The Laney GH50 is a great single channel head. And I think it's one of the cheapest all tube heads I've seen.

If you want combos the're the VC50, LC 50. Chromozone.

I find Laney sound to be very marshall british EL34 based. Great value and tone for the money if you're not particular of having the M word on the amps. ;)

NO, I'll never sell my origional. My current 800 is the 2 chanel one with the amazing drive channel but the shitty 3 knob clean channel (and the amp is due for a re-build). The single channel 800's I've used I've been able to get a great clean tone. That's why I'm considering the new reissue. :)

Cool, thanks, I'll try this one out. I used to have a mid 80's 1 channel Laney Pro Tube 50 watter. My brother wanted it real bad so I gave it to him. Amazing amp it is. I'll check out the new version for sure!

    Thanks!:)
