    If all the pickups in the guitar are P90s, or if all of the pickups are either P90 or humbucker, the usual value is 500K for both volume and tone. If a P90 is being mixed with a Fender style single coil, I'd use 250K. To my ears, a P90 sounds better with 250K pots than a Fender style single coil sounds with 500K pots.
