Does anyone know from where in the UK I can obtain a finished Strat body with a rear-mounted compartment for a 9-volt battery?
I want to make an active Strat as a project with EMG active pickups but I don't want to have to remove the strings and pickguard everytime I need to replace the battery.
I have tried a few UK guitar parts stockists, but no-one seems to have what I'm looking for.
As I don't want to buy an unfinished body, I'm unable to rout the cavity out myself.
