    Neck touch up.

I have a maple warmoth neck that has a spot that I needed to sanded down that I would like to protect from moisture. Do I need to use a wood filler and what should I use to match the satin finish?

What kind of finish is on the neck? If it's ploy you'll have a time trying to match finishes. If its nitro, it'll "burn in" and th new finish will match the old.

Or, you may let the aging, or "relicing" process work. A spot should not damage or wrap the wood. You know, people spend big bucks to have someone else beat their guitar into age. Tha seems a bit much to me, but I'd sit back and watch the character happen.

It is a poly finish. But if it's going to be hard to match the finish I guess Ill let it relic on its own.

    thanx

That's what I'd do. If it's a really big spot (like the entire back of a neck), or you're especially worried, you may want to oil or wax the spot a few times a year.
