    You're all a swell bunch of guys!

    I have one of these now. I really like it a lot. It plays really great and has a real musical sound to it. The neck is a very whiteish Maple and is a little on the thick side, but not overly so. The neck pickup needs to be adjusted up, but it doesn't have the adjustment screws like newer Tele's. I have to figure out how to adjust it. I like the way both PU's sound together and the bridge PU sounds very good also.
    The finish is really Far-out, Man! This is one case where the poly finish is more desireable than nitro. It should last as long as I have the guitar.
    The price was right and this is worth every penney and probably a lot more!

    BTW: I bought one that was still in the box, but the display model was just as nice.

    you should be able to adjust the pup by removing the pickguard.

    nice review, Yup just take off the pickguard to adjust the neck pup, I like mine pretty low on all my tele's let us know how u like it after u adjust it.

    They are a nice guitar for the price and they play well too.
    If I ever got one I'd pull out the bridge pup though.
    I just dig that Nocaster pup sound

    You mean the neck PU right?
    Yeah...the bridge PU on this guitar is probably the best stock bridge PU I've ever heard on a Tele.

    hows the neck?

    whats the neck like on the blue flower ray? Is it chubby, or the same profile as Am series necks?

    oh really. Then I shpouldn`t tell you about my US Fender custom shop team built shell pink strat? One of the nicest guitars I own. My wife hates it but I love it.

    It's just a psychadelic colored guitar. Anybody who's that unsecure about thier manhood to worry about what people gossip about has got problems.
    Now the pink '68 Tele is a different story.

    Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I thought of your question last night while I was working on the guitar. The neck is kind of chubby and more of a "C" type neck IMO.

    I adjusted the neck PU and now it sounds a lot better.
