Will a pickguard designed for a USA Standard fit my Classic Series 70's? A simple yes/no would be great. Thanks!

That depends on how many holes there are on the pickguard. 8 or 11?
NO.
If you leave the house, you're just asking for it.
One of my new strats I put an 8 hole Pickguard on it and I had to drill a new hole on the bottom, but besides that, it works fine.. I'm pretty sure the 70's guitars took an 11 hole pickguard, or the current standard. I think late 50's were the last to use 8 holes, except the Re Issues, of course.
But I did not answer earlier because I could not give you a definitive yes or no.

I don't really have a clue Photo...he said a yes or no would be great. I wanted to be helpful, but if I'd said yes and it didn't fit, he'd be pissed at me.
