Diff between Tex-Mex and Texas Specials

I have a Jimmy V strat that I love and six pick-ups- Stock 3 Tex-Mex, a Texas Special a SD Alnico Pro 2 single coil and a SD Lil 59er. What would you put in the guitar and why.

    For amps I use a 60's Vox AC30 and a early 70's Superlead.

Depends on what you're after tone wise. But I'd put the lil 59 in the bridge, the alnico II in the middle, and a tex mex in the neck. (Measure the dc resistance of all three tex mex and put the one with the lowest reading in the neck position.)

Now for the why. The lil 59 will give you the "oomph" needed for the bridge position. The Alnico II will give you good quack on the 2 and 4 positions. The weakest of the tex mex p'ups will give you a good traditional strat neck sound.

The texas special will make a good refridgerator magnet.
