    Didn't like it as much as the full size JB in the same as well as different guitars when comparing the two. Same basic tone in the pickup itself but not quite as full sounding, like it was just missing somethin'. Not bad none the less though.

    Have the JB Jr. in the bridge of one of my homebrews and a lil '59 in the bridge of my ESP clone (both rosewood/alder/std whammy). While the individual guitars make some difference, I found the JB to be strong, nice and hot, whith a pretty good '70's-style grind. The little '59, however, has a better bottom end response, is warmer sounding to my ears, and at least hot enough to do what I need it to do. I give the nod to the '59 so far.
