Musician's Friend has these microphones for $80, buy one get one free. I don't know anything about AKG mics, but it seemed like a bargain. Are these as good as an SM-58?

Not sure of that model, but I have some older AKG mics that I really like. I've used them live and for recording voiceover stuff. good stuff.
