    Rewiring Strat

I have a Strat (Roadhouse) project guitar that I am putting together. I want to rewire it without the tone controls. Could someone tell me the correct way to do this? I have a standard Strat wiring diagram in front of me. It appears that all I would have to do is eliminate the jumper that runs across all three pots, the 2 leads from the tone pots to the switch and the jumper across the switch. Is this correct? Will this work without any adverse effects? Any other suggestions? Thanks for reading!

I don't have a diagram in front of me, but I think if you just snip the leads going to the tone pots, you have it. The tone circuts are parellel additives to the circut, but not serial to it.

Ok, I looked at a diagram.. That it. The wires that go from the switch to the tone pot, just clip them.

    Bingo, direct wired, no tone.
