What’s the last song you'd want to hear before you die?

An interesting (if morbid) article with this thread's title ran in today's Washington Post. My choice for the song I'd want to hear one last time is "You Set the Scene" by Love from their 1967 "Forever Changes" LP. Second choice would be the studio version of Clapton's "Let it Rain" from his solo LP in 1970. On that happy note, I'm going to pour myself another Dewer's.

There are two songs I'd like to have played at my funeral: Lucky Man by Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and Spanish Harbor, by Vangelis (some very tasty Spanish guitar work and a beautiful outro).

I think the question was a little more macabre than "what to play at your funeral?" The last song YOU want to hear. I personally don't have one because the last thing I want is to hear that song and go "aw, crap, there goes the weekend."

Yes, you're right. Still, "Spanish Harbour" would still be the last song I'd like to hear.
