But I can't quit my preference for sublime.
Especially when this lady's making me "Crazy."
Thanks for the palette cleanser, because that funky first one was pretty hard to forget.
The Shawn Colvin cover reveals (in ce you hadn't already caught it) just what a terrific song that Gnarls Barkly tune really is, minus CeeLo and awesome production and all. It also makes me really miss the Jim & Shelly Show. We coulda done that just right.
Even the video of the original is cool.
The bare core of the song is killer.
This one gets a little boost in ridiculousness, because the songs is blatantly awful. Sorry, I veered from the initial spirit of the thread.
Plus, it's a boxer singing, which makes it a kind of a knockout. :arhhh:

I'm also sorry for just subjecting you to this.
Luckily, there are some nice palatte cleansers above.
Gordon Gano's (Violent Femmes) sister lives in my town and he is making a guest appearance at the First Annual Jamaica Plain (MA) Music Festival (created by Rick Berlin, if you must know). Anywho... I stumbled across a half dozen or more women covering Blister in the Sun.

How is it that that many women would do that? Is it... Big Hands, perhaps?? :biglaugh:
I think I will definitely be picking up Feist's CD.
