My Acoustic board.

Be my guest! It's too much of a beast to ever leave the man-cave, but it is fun to work with. The PedalPad Patch is a cool device - wish they still made them. I added a "kickstand" to the board after these phtots were taken so I can get underneath easily.
On the acoustic board (nothing but a Home Depot shelf with Velcro on it) the T-Rex Chameleon is really handy. It handles 9 volt DC - 12 volt dc and the 12 volt ac (Acoustimax). That was a a DEAL!!! I ordered it from Amazon but the one that arrived was in a ripped box and had obviously been repackaged. Amazon told me I could either return it for a brand new one, or keep this one and get 100% refund. It worked fine so I got it for free!!!
This phtot is a Gator case that fits the acoustic board perfectly.

Most of the pedals were either Stupid Deals of the Day or comparable deals...
Most of you guys are gigging, traveling musicians. So your pedalboards are built with years of trial-and-error and experience. I, on the other hand, play mostly through combo modeling amps, so the majority of the time I'm running clean, letting the amp do the work. But I have toyed with pedals, especially the overdrives, since modeling amps don't do these very well, in my opinion.
This is a work in progress. The Cry Baby wah is disconnected, and the Fulltone Mini Dejavibe 3 doesn't fit onto the board. Still, there are times a pedal does more in one foot press than tinkering with an amp's settings.

I have a Mesa/Boogie F30 .........that IS my board....
WOW-- there are some really elaborate feats of engineering posted here---
I tried pedals before-- bought and sold many-- they typically last 10 minutes--they tended to waste my time and energy--or I found the function or features or SOUND to be crap--
I find my tone is simple a guitar into a Mesa-- adjust gain and reverb to suit-- or guitar into PEavey 112 Bandit-- and done
my bass tone is similar-- though I have a MULTIPEDDLE by digitech for bass that models amps (I cant say how accurately Ive never HEARD most the models in person) -- and has a drum machine in it---I use that-- the rest is IMHO crap--
I recently however was COAXED by members of another forum to TRY using the (2) pedals I had (Joyo Ultimate Drive and EH HOLY GRAIL reverb) and I purchased a Compression pedal -- (again owned two before I flipped traded or sold within days of getting)
We will see---how this goes-- so far I have not reboxed and shelved the compressor-- Im giving it a true "try" but ---Im also not SOLD on it either -- its a "subtle" difference--- and well-- Im not a pro--Im a home player/hack-so if it just ads more work or time to the equation and takes away from my playing time--- I dont care for it---
I play to relax and destress and to keep form choking the living shite out of A$$HATS in my life--- its WAY cheaper than therapy way less "invasive" than prison--- so --- I try and make my pedal board and my gear in general -- simple -- and easy to just plug n play

Since I'm now using velcro, things are no longer set in stone & I can experiment & move stuff around. So right now I have:
MXR Micro Amp clean boost > TS9 > wah > TS9 > Ramble Marvel 3 > JHS Emperor > Strymon Lx > Strymon El Cap > TC Electronic Hall of Fame reverb
interesting to have a TS9 before and after the wah. What does that bring to the table. dirt then wah, wah then dirt, not necessarily both dirt at same time?
Would a pic of mine be worthwhile I wonder as it’s a FC-12. LOL
Since the Velcro makes the pedals easier to rearrange, I figured I'd take the opportunity to try a ts9 before & after the wah to see which way I prefer. It does make a difference in the sound, but which way is "best" is a matter of opinion. I'll let you know what I find out. So far it seems to boost the highs a bit when used before the wah
Not on a board yet...but does the Echo Chamber count?

Oh, crap, I have a Vox Wah somewhere too
does that Echo Chamber take hi test or regular and is it the original pull start or the newer electric start?
I don't know much about it. A co-worker gave it to me and I never got a replacement piece of tape for it so I haven't messed with it much
Ho lee cow
That's a pretty impressive piece of machinery right there
I think this will work for the next little while:
Strobostomp>MXR Micro Amp>1985 Ibanez TS9>Ramble FX Marvel Drive v.3>Vox Wah>JHS Emperor v.2>Strymon Lex>Strymon El Capistan>Dunlop Echoplex>t.c. electronic Hall of Fame. The little EightySix tap switch is for the Echoplex.

TJ, if it's like the old "Space Echos", standard reel tape works great. I think we used to splice a 12' loop for them.
K.I.S.S setup.

Dang, that is pretty straightforward

Nice! Is that two identical boards, or just variations of one?
I've outgrown a number of pedals but never the OCD. I don't think there's a better clean boost out there.
Years ago I used a Big Muff or an LPB1 which, while they got the job done, had terrible S/N ratios The Fulltone is much quieter especially when powered with 18 VDC. For true output-tubes-and-tranny-approachig-meltdown distortion, the Proco Rat is one of the better effects.
I've been hearing about the RAT for years, never tried one. Loos like there are quite a few variations. Any model recommendation?
People say that the older ones with the LM308 chip are better, but in my experience it’s actually hard to find a bad RAT (I mean real RATs, not clones). I use one of the modern ones and it’s surely one of my best dirt pedals.
However, you gotta keep in mind that it is what it is, it’s hairy and slightly fuzzy.
My 2 cents
