These two guitars were built in the same facility- 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan, 60 years apart, by two different companies!

So beautiful. We’re still in the golden age of guitars.
Exceptional instruments, both!

Nice guitars.
I have a Heritage H-150, (Les Paul style) and I would put it up against any Gibson I've played. Aside from weight, it's equal to any.
|I have my old 1980 SG built the same place - but it's got nothing compared to that 225.
Super pretty! My ES-225 is the 't' version of 1957. I've had it since before I started collecting guitars. It's a bit road worn, but it's honest wear. And it still is a fabulous player!

That's a beauty! My ES-225TD plays really well and sounds great! The neck shape is just about perfect. Intonation isn't perfect, but it's good enough. I think the wrap/trap/tail piece adds to the bendability of the strings.
I gig with it.

That looks like the original brown case too, Don. I had to "mothball" mine, as it is even more roadworn than the guitar. Fortuntaly, I found a replacement case at Sweetwater that is a perfect fit and well-cushioned, to boot!
