there's a youtuber named Dave504 who did a video called "not a bass". I believe one of Bowie's songs was on there. What shocked me was that the famous Seinfeld slap bass opening theme was actually a bass synth.

I felt like Luke Skywalker at Cloud City, being told by Darth Vader that he was his father. :bawl

As. Bass player for the last 50+ years, there is no way in hell I would imagine that opening theme being played on some bass strings.
