How much is this guitar worth?

I'm looking for an estimate of the value of a guitar.

It is a Fender Stratocaster, serial number: H037097.

This website (https://www.guitarinsite.nl/serienummers-fender_eng.php) gives the following information:

• Production date 1988-1989.
• Made by Fuji-gen, Japan.

It's in pretty good condition but with some damage to the lacquer cover on the body where it is peeling off in parts.

I'm awful at guessing the value of a guitar. It's obviously a "working" guitar, or perhaps more accurately, a "worked" guitar. There's a good amount of neck wear and may need a fret job.

Reverb has a price guide that suggests - based on condition - you're looking at somewhere between $465 - $940. Personally, I would hesitate to pay even the low end for that guitar, but that's based only on your photos, and not having played it.

looks like a sketchy fake relic job. The front is beat but the back looks fine and no chips on the lower bout. I'd be pressed to pay $100 for it. A lot of "relic'ed" guitars have serious problems with corrosion in the tuners and bridge. I'd suggest you keep looking.
