A year ago........let that sink in........
We had a few gigs this year - but not many. They were all fun, but this was a regular fixture EVERY week.
different bands open - everyone got to play.

These guys are a part of what is still RIGHT with things today. It makes me proud to watch these videos, and other folks too, doing good things and putting smiles on the faces of people who desperately need it.

we are coming up real soon to one year since the shutdown started. I hope that it isn't another whole year to go before things open up again.

A year ago, I had started my lockdown early. Came home from a trip to the UK and started with a bad what-I-thought-was-flu-but-ended-up-being-a-severe-case-of-cellulitis in my leg.
A year ago today I was sitting in the ER attached to an IV drip of antibiotics, followed by a month at home on sick leave. Couldn't walk or do anything really. Then I got better - had a week of normalcy before the lockdown. Incidentally, the last time I got my hair cut. Then the really bad medical news started to trickle in for me.
What a difference a year makes. My originals band is still working on recording the songs we started jamming on last year. No further ahead, but that's OK.
