What should I do with my Mex HSS Strat?

(I tried to put in the image but it was huge)
I picked this up at a guitar show for $300 a while back. It's actually pretty sweet, but I'm not crazy on the looks - mainly the black knobs.
Hoping you guys might have some thoughts or suggestions on what to do with this. Can I get white covers for the pickups without swapping them out? Should I go tortoise shell on the pickguard?
Thanks!
Re: What should I do with my Mex HSS Strat?
The black knobs and single coil pickup covers are inexpensive and easy to replace. The bridge pickup is molded in black and would need to be changed. I like the look of the guitar.

That's good looking guitar. I'm with you on the black knobs. So cheap to change out.
I'd rather have white on the single coils, but the black humbucker doesn't bother me. I can understand why you'd want a different color though.

Thanks guys. I think I want to leave that pickup in, I don't know what it is but it sounds great, a little hot but not too hot.
Do you think I should change the pickguard? I don't know what a light green or cream pickguard would look like on a white guitar with a black humbucker.

Hello, welcome to the forum.
yes, you can purchase white, parchment (which would be my personal choice for that guitar) or aged white (caramel) colored plastics, I mean original Fender stuff. including pickup covers.
i'd leave the original pickguard on, though.

I think the single coils changed to aged white covers and aged white knobs would look great on that guitar. Not having any problem with the pickguard myself.
if you like the sound of the bridge pickup I wouldn't change it.
