had our first gig last night - since valentines day - went well - but cut short

so we had our first gig last night in a while! HOT as balls out - very humid! Strings felt like they were smeared with grape jelly. Caught the edge of a storm cell moving through and shut down. We were almost at end of first set and just called it.....

We got a few good songs in and considering we hadn't even seen each other since feb 14 - I think it went well. It was great seeing people, seeing my bandmates, friends and even some family. The gig is a monthly one at a local ice cream stand, and we generally are good for 100-150 people there - families, friends, etc. in Small Town Murica!

I was really glad we got what we got, but still disappointed that it got cut short. I wouldn't trade these moments for anything!

I may try putting a video up later - they aren't great - but I am ok with what we had.

Any way - that was my first Covidian Era show.
