Catalinbread Belle Epoch and Merkin Fuzz

I got a Catalinbread Belle Epoch "Tape" Echo and Merkin Fuzz for Christmas.

I didn't get to spend a huge amount of time with these pedals, but-

The Merkin makes a lot of the really dated '60s fuzz sounds that I've been trying to capture for some time now. I thought it might overlap too much with my HBE UFO but it's got it's own thing going on. Very cool.

The Belle Epoch is a blast! This is $200 well spent. It's almost worth it just for the self-oscillation. By "self", they really mean "self"! You don't even need a guitar plugged in to get some really cool sounds. Best of all, it sounds organic and "musical".:appl:

What a good time! I wish I could be making some really stupid noises with these pedals right now.
