Nice! Wouldn't it be blast to stand in front of and play through that much Marshall!!
I don't know how he gets that great fluid tone without a special, really expensive jack cord and those gold-plated fuses (see other thread). I guess he just didn't know any better.
Maybe it's because I've heard this version dozens of times, but I find it more musical, true to the melody, etc. And Jon Lord is in top form.
That's not saying the one you posted wasn't good.........Bill
naw...
Thanks for sharing those guys, definitely one of my favorite tunes!!

That is so true.........and with a "pig" '70s strat with stock pups!
So many of the tones we are chasing were done with a stock guitar,a standard coily cable, and a stock amp. Could you imagine walking up to Blackmore or Peter Green and saying,"Hey man, check out this oxygen-free cable! Your tone is suffering now,but not with this baby! It's only $100!"
Ritchie was actually instrumental (pun intended) in the creation of the short-lived Marshall Major head (200 watts RMS),so you can imagine 2 of those and 4 cabs.
And the keys...damn those just are incredible.
Thank you Gris, one of my mostest favoritist, besides Highway Star.
Love that tune!
Awesome!!
Ritchie Blackmore smiled? :wah:
