Typical ones around here "Stop-n-Go"
There's one in the Minneapolis 'burbs called "Pump-n-Munch"

We used to have WaWa stores around here.
They didn't carry FX pedals.
We've got a Howdy Doody in town. Also have two Piggly Wigglys.

I like couple of the names in Tim Dorsey's novels about FL:
Rapid Response
Addiction World
In the late 60s, Tucson had a chain of 7-11 type stores called TOOT & MOO:laughing:!
It's not the convenience stores here, it's other businesses, mostly hair salons like, A Cut Above, The Best Hairhouse in Town, The Clip Joint, and Curl Up and Dye. There's a DIY ceramics place called Play In the Mud and a flower shop called The Sherwood Florist.
There's one on the corner of Foothill blvd and Indian Hill, in Claremont...I used to drive by it all the time.Quote:
The Sherwood Florist.
we have some named sudden service.
Party Time! is the liquor store down the street from me.
Who needs liquor stores, though, when there's a whole harbor full of boats with bad puns painted on the back:
Whiskey Business
Fuelish Pleasures
Nauti Dog
my personal favorite,
Yachta Yachta Yachta
I could go on and on...
loaf and jug
Kum-N-Go - Convenience Mart
???
U-Tote-Um
Long gone, but not forgotten - the local corner store where I grew up was called "Mic-Macs". Run by an oldtimer named Percy MacDonald. He'd never let you get into the store without calling you "girls"...
Others:
Quicker Liquor Booze Delivery - not a store, but close.....
Couche-Tard - a Quebec convenience store (translated to "late-nighter") - apparently there's some in Ohio and Oklahoma....bizzare...I'd love to hear those words are pronounced there....
In Quebec, it's not a corner store unless it's prefixed with "Depanneur", i.e. Depanneur L'Etoile Fiante, Depanneur L'Escale
