That darn tremolo spring vibration (buzz)...ah ha!

I've read a few posts from people who have gotten an annoying buzz from their tremolo springs...I picked up one ofmy guitars today and it started doing it!!!GRRRRRRRR...well, I was just about to take the plate off and see if the ground wire was vibrating against the springs and maybe try a small piece of foam rubber to help stop it...when..........

I flicked my trem arm down and it snugged up in the hole (tight) and...NO BUZZ! Turns out that it was the arm vibrating inside the hole...once I screwed it tight against the threads, the buzz stopped.

A little Teflon tape that I had used on the threads had worn and I hadn't gotten around to replacing it...one thing about strats, there's always something to learn about them.
