I was at GC to get my line 6 POD. I spent some time in the electric section playind a few strats, even an SRV model. I was impressed with that one but really didnt want to pay whaqt they wanted for it. I also played a Jimmie Vaughan and a few used strats. Nothing reaqlly impressed me other than the SRV. So I just bought my POD and some other odds n ends. I d stil lie to get an SRV but maybe a used one.
I can't afford a lot of guitars, so I usually buy small stuff when I go to GC. I have all the Strats I need, my new MiA Strat, the new FMT Strat, and if I can, I count the MiM I gave to my 10 year old son. Then I have the OLP MM1 for humbucker/LP sounds..
I just sold my only Tele to finance the new MiA Strat. I found I'm just not a Tele player, but I would like to build a Tele kit. I just don't play a Tele enough to tie up $800.00 in a Tele. That's why I sold it in favor of the Strat.
