Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
That is awesome! I would love to know more about how that was done...
Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
Don't try to tune that if you've had more than 1 beer. :bonk
Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
Here's the guy's eBay "auction" - which is actually a fixed price buy in now set-up - where he claims to have 20 in stock. Total cost is $489 (shipped). IF it works, it seems like a cool set-up at a reasonable price. I still wonder how those strings that pass thru the ferruls to tuners on the back of the headstock will tune-up/sound. Gotta give the guy an A for creativity, though. If anybody buys one, please keep us posted...

Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
I don't know what he's planning for a patent.
The tuner setup has been done by rickenbacker. The only diffference is the use of the ferrules instead of straight to tuner peg.
Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
Is the typical Tele/Strat neck up for longterm use with twice an many strings on it?
Do the Strat XII necks have a heavier duty truss rod, I wonder?
This one is pretty slick.

The last thing anybody needs is the threat of legal action from Rickenbacker.
Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
I'll have nightmares about tuning that thing...
Re: 12 String Squire Tele?
No pic of the back and then I noticed it has a
Top and Bottom Loader Bridge.
Those necks must be strong to handle all that tension.
