Fender 50th anniv. P bass value?
Hello all, New to the forum. I have a question about my P bass I'm thinking about selling. I think these were made in 2001. Butterscotch ash body, maple neck and fretboard. 50th anniv. neckplate. Fender made about 470 of them. Some went to Europe. Anybody know more about them? Value? Thanks.

50th Anniversary neckplate? Didn't those end up on virtually every single Fender made in 2004?

This was the 50th anniv. of the Precision bass itself.

Re: Fender 50th anniv. P bass value?
Kap'n's comment is related to the fact that there's general confusion between limited production anniversary model guitars and guitars that just happen to be made during an anniversary year (and get a marking that makes them look special).
It sounds like yours is a genuine limited anniversary model. We usually don't get into discussing specific values here. It leads to misuse of the forum. I'd like to see some pics of it though. |
