    My Rickenbacker

I've talked a lot about my bass on the forum, so here it is:

I am a big McCartney fan. That's why I bought it back in 78.

I RAWKED my '73 mapleglo at church this morning, I definitely was making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

The first song I ever played on mine was the bass to "Silly Love Songs." I know--it's a guilty pleasure, but I love the bass and the melody and the hippie message. I still warm up with that bass line.

I've got a '76 autumn glow that was painted a few times and is now dark blue.

Yeah, man, Chris Squire smokes that Ric on Roundabout. And Geddy, he sounds great on the Ric and his Jazz bass. I can't say I prefer one to the other because he makes that JB sound great too. Glad I just ordered one (no not the GL model). If you haven't seen the other post, I just ordered a 2012 Left Handed Am. St.d Jazz Bass. Come on UPS.....
