    new to me, pulled tubes.

all the preamp tubes are 12au7's, conn labeled, but from different vintages. then there are two conn labeled 6l6gc, a 5ug4gb, and an 0a3.

taking them to gary's house this weekend to get tested. i'm sure there are a couple good ones out of this lot. they all came from a conn tube organ via colorado.

Well you have a lifetime supply of 12au7s!
The first tube on the lower left is not a 12au7.
Looks like you have some Sylvinia made 12au7s there, some times the gain of those will be in the 12at7 range, I have some of their 12ax7s that are in the 114 to 116% gm(output) range and these tubes are 25 or more years old!
The two 6l6s look like they may be Philps/ECG str models, again, a great tube!
    Congrats!

steve, the one on the lower left is a 6s4a.

i'm pretty pumped about this. can't wait to fire them up and test them. i'm gonna ask my friend if he pulled the trannies also, now that would be cool.
