What is this Amp? Fender M-80

Fender M-80 ----Picked up this amp very reasonably the other day. And not knowing much about it. All I know is you can't turn it up past 2 or 3, or it will blow you away!! --- Front panel say 'tube emulation' with eq knobs. 2 imputs ---- Back panel, has '8 ohm' speaker only, and says 300 watt imput. Cabinet is black carpet. ------ Anybody got any specs
or info, please let me know. Thanks, Burt jman3@mindspring.com

solid-state "modelling" amp...300W "input" is the INPUT power from the wall plug (which means about 1-3/4 Amp fuze), not the OUTPUT power!

Nice heavy metal amp. Good SS high gain tones. Also, loud as hell. I know they had a few versions: rack mount, combo, head, chorus, etc...

Hi, yeah, this is just a straight combo. 1x12" speaker, with 8 ohm
jack on back panel. It is loud! Don't know what the wattage is. Can
it be jacked out to a 4x12?

I think those were 65 watts loud, but could be 80 (hence, the name). You can certainly run a 4x12; I knew someone that did, just make sure that the extra cab is 8 ohms.
