    Tele Kit..

My son gave me this Tele kit. He got it when he was 15 and then used a wood burner to burn flame designs on it. He gave it to me and a friend used a planner and ground the design off.

Here it is done.. not great, but still a lot of fun!

Maybe it's a Saga kit like the Strat that my son and I built.

I put the same exact trem on my buddy's Thinline, I was pretty impressed really. I bought mine from GFS.

It's easier to string than a Bigsby, thats for sure, and it seems to stay in tune really well. I don't remember a real bigsby being that reliable as far as tuning. It was from GFS. I had a few problems with it, but I think I have all the bugs worked out now.

Lets put it this way, I put the final set of strings on it. I only do that after all the experimenting had been done and I'm sure it's stable.

I am thinking about buying one of those kits... do you upgrade or keep the stock parts?
