    I have seen the light...

I'm coming off a looong break from the guitar and the obsessiveness that comes with it. My musical focus has changed, so there's some gear that I found needs some swapping. I'm keeping all my guitars, but more and more I'm enjoying the simple joy of the Tele. What a beautiful thing it is.

Simplicity exemplified! I like an Esquire wired like a Les Paul Jr, doesn't get more basic than that.

Yes, I'm coming off a Tele-binge right now & picking up my Strat more & more; but last summer every gig was a Tele gig.

Tele's are the sports cars of guitars, no doubt.

I've heard it said that the Strat is sexy. I don't ever think "sexy" when I look at a guitar, but I do like the Tele wallflower and say it is as lovely as the sleek Stratocaster. And to sum up the Tele in a few words: twang, growl, snarl, bite, smooth, clean, and nasty.
