    Best bang for buck Telecaster

Looking for alder body, rosewood board. I wouldn't want to start changing tuners, and saddles, etc. So what's the best bang for the buck (looking to spend about $400 used).

You can find a 60's Classic Tele used for $400 easy.

Now that Fender has lowered prices on all artist series a new MW Tele could be purchased for around $475 at a 40% discount or $550 at a 30% discount like MF usually gives.

I would look for a MIJ '62 reissue.

For whatever reason, that could be one of the best Tele's I've ever played.
