I had mentioned previously that I wanted
- Another Telecaster, to even out my collection of Strats/Teles, and
- A short scale electric guitar
I missed out on one by not jumping on it the moment I spotted it, but as luck/fate would have it, another one came along, and this time I pounced!
Visually, it reminds me a lot of my 2016 Magnificent Seven Telecaster, with the tortoiseshell pickguard and white blond body. This one has silver hardware rather than gold, and has a Guild "Anti-Hum" humbucker neck pickup. It's just out of the box, on a very hot day, so I'm letting it rest before tuning it up.
Here i a pic of it, and a comparison pic with a "standard" size Tele. The short scale is 24" and the standard is 25.5." The body is slightly smaller, too. Just hefting it makes it seem like it fits my small hands nicely. We'll see once it's cooled down and plugged in.
