I can’t cease to admire and really enjoy this fellow’s strat tone.
Wish I could have such great vibe all through a long solo.

I think it's Great! Good Stuff! Needs to be recognized! Strats are great! LP's not bad either! Jeff
I got to see them in 77 or 78. Great band.
If we'd known we were going to be the Beatles, we'd have tried harder.--George Harrison
Agreed, great band.
Being their home base was 90 miles from where I lived, got to see them many times.
A few times in smaller venues.
It was great growing up in the 70s and early 80s in central FL.
The local bands were Skynyrd (orig lineup), the Outlaws, Blackfoot, Henry Paul Band, later the Rossington Collins Band

In my area we had dozens of monster Strat players. Those southern boys a ways east of us were well liked too. Yeah, some were pretty good. We had Bugs Henderson, Ed Mullins, Buddy Whittington, and others that whipped it up on stage with Strats. In the late 80's a fella named Chris Duarte stepped out with a Strat and flat out mesmerized me. Now there's a remarkable Strat player.
I forgot what I was going to say...

The only time you really live fully is from thirty to sixty. The young are slaves to dreams; the old servants of regrets. Only the middle-aged have all their five senses in the keeping of their wits.

Ah! Chickin' Pickin'!
LOVE IT!
If you love Hughie then you need this album in your collection.
I know I am late to the thread..... My first rock concert was Molly Hatchet opening for The Outlaws... within weeks of that video. I was relatively new to playing guitar and I loved the concert but I remember thinking I had heard enough lead guitar for a month. Flirting With Disaster was new to radio, but I was transfixed by Dreams I'll Never See. At the time, I had never heard the Allmans' Dreams. Green Grass was amazing but it seemed to go on forever after hearing Gator Country et al. Great concert and great band.
I sat center stage, about 15 rows back. I'd never seen so many Confederate flags and pickup trucks with gun racks in my life.
A good, screaming Strat just might be the greatest guitar sound of all..... -Slash
Back then the "Battle Flag" wasn't racist! Lots of southern bands incorporated the flag into their stage show, album covers, etc!
(Now days we're supposed to be ashamed of our ancestors!)
